I am a teacher therefore I am a salesperson. The classroom is my store and

the students are my customers.  My goal is to sell education!  I seek the

opportunity to provide teacher workshops.

My topic :    (Staar critical thinking!)

                How to teach basic math - reading - writing via long multi-topic

                equation instruction.  (STAAR critical thinking!!) 

Long equation instruction is for all grade levels.

1.) 2+ years of sub-teaching experience at various
school districts in San Antonio. (1984-1985)

2.) 10 great years of high school instruction :
Southside High School (Joe Arriaga , Principal)

                                1985 - 1995

Started Math Minute in district community newspaper.

3.)      1995 - August 31st , 2010 (planned departure)

         14+ years of instruction to prison inmates via
the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice.

Via this teaching strategy, I teach reading-writing-math/algebra and job&life skills. Plus I incorporate the
teaching of other subjects like history.

                                   Tutorial service

College students! Do you need Math 0300 , 0301 or  0302 refresher but do not have the time to enroll in 14-week developmental math classes? I , former instructor , offer one to two hour classes/tutorial at an agreed place and time. $20 an hour for up to two students.  Larger group rates available.

Math Anxiety? Attack it with my Long Multi-topic Equation Instruction session! $20 per hour for up to two students.

Future Teachers? One to up-to-two teaching experience information session available! Same rate as above.
